General information
For alerting and important information on operations/mission you are informed by push notifications on your logged-in device such as smartphone or tablet. Depending on the type of the notification you can control and adjust how they are displayed as well as the volume of the notification. The following explains how the notifications can be managed on the most common operating systems iOS and Android.
When an app is downloaded and opened for the first time, pop-up windows appear in which you can grant or deny authorisations. One of these pop-up windows concerns the authorisation for push notifications. It is essential to click on "Allow" here in order to be alerted to a mission, otherwise you will not receive any push notifications. If you initially refused permission, you can of course change this in the settings at a later date. Instructions on how to do this can be found later in the FAQ. This is the same procedure for iOS and Android.
